Welcome to The Lilac House. Home of Awedistra GSDs and dog training, The Lilac House caravan club certificated location, and The West Wing.

We are the Gallimore family; Andrew and Deb, our sons Curtis and Wade and daughter - born safely at home and weighing in at 7lbs 12oz baby Ruby arrived in the early hours of 15th February 2008. We share our home with Ebony and Elvis our two beautiful German shepherd dogs (find out more about them on the Dog training pages), Griff our hand reared Welsh Beulah ram and his girlfriends. Along with a handful of assorted chickens, ducks, guinea pigs and three cats, Scout Star and Snowbear.

Since moving to this beautiful part of the country in early 2005 we have worked hard to create a friendly welcoming, relaxed environment in which to raise our family. The Caravan club certificated location has been open for just over twelve months now. Having done all the work ourselves we take great pride in it and care very much that people enjoy their stay and want to return. So far we have had many return visitors. We hope that the Caravanners that visit, love and appreciate the area as much as we do and experience the warm welcoming atmosphere we have created here at The Lilac House.

The West Wing is a new addition to what The Lilac House has to offer. Opening for business in spring 2008 visitors to the West Wing will enjoy a holiday in a self contained cottage attached to The Lilac House itself. Where once again we will be offering a very warm family welcome. Keep an eye on the West Wing page for updates.

As you might have guessed we are a family of animal lovers with a special interest in dog training, behaviour, and rehabilitation. Awedistra GSDs and Dog Training has been running for a couple of years now at this location where Deb Gallimore runs, Pet handling courses, Fun agility training and one to one behaviour consultations along with doggy rehab among many other dog related services. Once again that warm welcome is extended to everyone who comes to The Lilac House for training or consultation. Suffice it to say that your pets are as welcome as you to The Lilac House all we ask is that you are responsible for them and keep them under control at all times.
