“Just wanted to say thank-you to Deb for being a wonderful hostess.
It was a very good 2 days, Barbara Sykes also had some good human psychology demo's !! Thank-you once again for providing an affordable workshop and a relaxed and friendly learning environment, and wow ............. wasn't expecting all that yummy food !! Well done and thanks, Julie Love.” “Big thank you for such a wonderful weekend. Its been extremely interesting and instructive and we both feel inspired to take it all on board and to respect and care for our dogs(and love them) even more and hopefully much better. Looking forward to going to another training weekend, and the food has been fantastic. Thank you” “I have really enjoyed both days, I found them very informative and I will try to put them into practice when I get home. The food was excellent, the venue ideal. I would like to hear about similar events if possible please. Thanks” Sandra Ellarby
“I really enjoyed this experience and learned many things. I will try all of these tips on my collie Meg. I think TLC is a good way to teach people how to look after and have good fun with their dogs. Now I can see that I am not the only one with a troubled dog!” Demi Holloway aged 11 years.
“Excellent two days. Information made simple, easy to understand Practical sessions both benefited those who brought dogs and those that did not. Excellent food, chocolate cake first class. 30 participants appears the right number, felt comfortable. Please can you consider more courses. I do not feel that there could be any improvements made for these two days it has been perfect.” Anon.
“Excellent weekend, excellent food, well run weekend, Thank you.” Anon.
“soooo impressed! Excellent weekend, food, venue and training, Thank you all.” Anon.
“Fantastic weekend, learnt a lot. Excellent food etc. Look forward to doing something similar again. Thank you” Anon.
“Excellent, very informative and well organised, many thanks” SS.
“I have found these two days very informative and helpful, particularly the advice given to me for my own timid collie. It’s now up to me to put it into practice. Most enjoyable course , very good food. Thanks” Louise Mason.
“Excellent weekend. Everything has been useful particularly: The difference between manners and training; the importance of 1 to 1 time with individual dogs and separate beds etc, watching dogs body language, stepping in to protect, doors don’t release dogs you do, don’t negotiate with nervous dogs. Thank you.” “Fantastic, when’s the next one? Very informative and pitched out at the right level. Great resources, mixture of theory and practical exercises and group participation was just right. I was engrossed completely I the two days and I feel I am now better equipped to communicate and build my relationships with my dogs. The hall and set up was perfect, food amazing I’ve never eaten so well. Overall a very positive and life changing experience.” Anon.
“Brilliant weekend, we have learned so much and can’t wait to put it into practice…..slowly. Barbara talks so much common sense and made it very easy to see the logic behind her actions and suggestions. Having dogs here was great. It was really beneficial to see dogs with problems and be shown how to address them, all with positive results. Dogs aside it was a very sociable weekend with good company and great food. The hospitality was second to none. Thank you.” Kim and Katie Thomas.
“Wow, what did you do to Spindle? Ok I know it was me who got trained really! Excellent two days I cannot praise high enough. Well done at working out what dogs really need and even more well done for telling us in clear terms. I can’t wait to get home and start my new ‘dogs life’ !” Very well presented and organised weekend. As a trainer I have gained an enormous understanding of how to control (or show handlers) how to control their dogs. 99.9% of dogs that come to my classes pull like mad but from now on the first half an hour or however long it takes will be getting the handlers to control their dogs. As a trainer I’m learning all the ti me but this has been a great learning curve. Many thanks to Barbara and many thanks to debs and the other ladies for looking after us all so well.”Jill Arnold.
“I’ve had a really great weekend, all the information, demonstrations, questions and answers have been really useful and helpful. I have learned so much over the past weekend it’s been great. I thought my border collie was un-trainable but now I have so much to try that we can both e happy! 10/10 would definitely do it again. Thanks very much, all the best. P.S. refreshments were great.” Emma Carswell.
“I have found these two days so very informative! Barbara makes sense! Nobody has ever said that it’s okay to protect the dog, or explained fight/ flight. I thoroughly enjoyed the two days, refreshments were very good especially the cake! Thank you.” Anon.
“Thank you, very enjoyable and I learned a lot . I would like to do it again!” “Extremely informative, also enjoyable. It was very interesting to actually see the ‘ problem dogs’ being brought into the hall. The food was outstanding, worth every penny. Thanks” Chris Gray.
